About Us

Hi, I’m Angela Dezan. I bring more than 26 years of experience as a beautician and business owner, along with over two decades of teaching beauty across a range of schools and RTOs. I am passionate about sharing my industry knowledge and helping students develop their skills, confidence and love for the beauty industry.

Outside of my career, I have a deep love for animals and sustainable living. My family includes my two French bulldogs, Seppie and Luigi, Molly the cat and four newly welcomed chickens. After saying goodbye to my beloved pig, Lulu, at the age of 14, I continue to honour our special bond by nurturing animals, growing my own vegetables and embracing natural recycling practices. I enjoy promoting a mindful, sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle within my community.

Brodie Kleesh is a qualified hairdresser, VET Hairdressing Trainer and Assessor, and the owner of Jai Hair Artistry. Working both behind the chair and in the classroom allows her to bring current industry knowledge, practical techniques and genuine salon experience into every lesson.

Specialising in lived-in colour, coppers and personalised styles, Brodie is passionate about helping people feel confident and look their best. She brings this same passion to her teaching, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their practical skills and growing in confidence.

Brodie is committed to maintaining high industry standards and inspiring the next generation of hairdressers to build successful and rewarding careers. Outside the salon and classroom, she loves spending time with her family, enjoying the company of her gorgeous Staffy, Rosie, and making the most of life’s little moments.

Stella was one of the first students to walk through the doors of Inspiring Training Academy 12 years ago and has now come full circle as a valued trainer, student support mentor and member of our compliance team.

With more than 10 years of experience in hairdressing and beauty therapy, Stella brings current industry knowledge, enthusiasm and a genuine understanding of the student journey into the classroom. She is passionate about helping students build their skills, confidence and belief in themselves.

Alongside her training and student support role, Stella assists with ITA’s compliance processes by reviewing assessment evidence, recording results, identifying missing requirements and working closely with trainers to maintain high assessment and documentation standards.

Stella’s caring nature, industry experience and commitment to quality make her an invaluable part of the ITA team.

Claire has worked in the beauty spa and wellness industry for more than 30 years, gaining experience in beauty therapy, spa treatments, education, training and management. She has worked in Australia, America, the UK and onboard cruise ships travelling the world.

Her career has included practical industry experience, training for international companies and managing 5-star destination spas in the UK before moving to Australia.

Since relocating to Australia, Claire has enjoyed sharing her knowledge with the next generation of beauty therapists. She has taught in both private colleges and TAFE settings, combing real industry experience with practical, and supportive approach to teaching.

Claire is passionate about helping students build confidence, develop strong skills and prepare for a successful career in the beauty industry.

Outside of work, Claire is a mum of three and has been happily married for 15years. She lives in the Dandenong ranges with her family and two dogs. She has a very busy active lifestyle and enjoys walking, swimming, gardening and cooking with her family.

With more than 20 years in the beauty industry, Kiera Hopkins brings a wealth of practical experience and a genuine passion for helping others feel confident in their own skin. After two decades working hands‑on in salons and supporting clients through every stage of their beauty journey, she now channels that same energy into training the next generation of beauty therapists.

Kiera’s broad knowledge across all areas of Beauty Therapy allows her to deliver training that is practical, thorough and grounded in real industry experience. She’s known for her supportive down‑to‑earth approach while creating a learning environment where students feel comfortable, build confidence, and develop the skills they need to thrive in the workplace.

Outside the classroom, Kiera is happiest spending time with her family, keeping active at the gym, and unwinding with her golden lab, Luna. She brings that same positive, energetic spirit into every training session, encouraging students not just to learn, but to believe in themselves.

Vicky brings over 30 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, with a career spanning salon ownership, mentoring, and education. Her extensive industry knowledge, combined with a genuine passion for teaching, allows her to inspire and prepare the next generation of hairdressers.

Vicky is known for building strong connections with her students by meeting them where they are. She creates an inclusive, supportive learning environment where students of all backgrounds, cultures, learning abilities, and language levels feel valued, encouraged, and capable of succeeding. Her approachable nature, patience, and ability to relate to young people make her a favourite among her students.

Vicky is passionate about helping every student build confidence, develop practical skills, and discover the many career opportunities the hairdressing and barbering industry has to offer.
